Summertime Family Services at St John the Baptist Church

Summertime Family Services

St John the Baptist Church Cherington and Stourton

All are welcome to come along and join in a journey over the next few months and revisit the Family Services, exploring different themes in a fun way, from digging for treasure to bring and share picnics in the park.

14th June – Starting 10:30

Come along and whilst learning about treasures and values in life, the children can actually Dig For Treasure !

12th July – Starting 10:30

Continue your journey as we explore the theme of Journey

A chance to see a real live airline pilot (in uniform)

9th August - Starting 10:30

Normal family service in church following the theme of Sharing

Service followed by a Bring and Share Picnic in the playing fields (or village hall if wet)

The family services are for everyone, and key to there success is the interaction ofthe different families within the parish. You can support by offering to lead the prayers, take the reading, and of course participating in the bring and share picnic. Any qustions and offers to help, please contact Jo or Sherry.
